Semplicemente is a quintet formed by members of the choir at Pinner Parish Church. Our first CD God Be In My Head is being released on Easter Day (12th April 2009).
The idea to record this CD was conceived following a challenge set by the curate at Pinner Parish Church, the Reverend Elizabeth Birch. During a sermon based on The Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25 v14-20) Elizabeth distributed £500 of her own money to members of the congregation in varying amounts. Each receipient was challenged to emulare the 'good and faithful' servants in the parable by investing the money in some way to earn a larger sum for the church stewardship fund. All of the people involved in making this CD are regularly involved with music and worship and Pinner Parish Church. We therefore chose the church's calendar as a theme and have selected some of our favourite music from the main festivals in the Christian year.
